Me and the wonderful "Cooper"!

 

     My name is Steven Jackson. I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.                                                                

 

   I love all dogs, big and small, puppy and adult, purebred and mixed. I am happy to say I currently have four wonderful dogs, two horses, a cockatiel, chinchilla and several fish. My dogs are a Lab mix named "Promise", a German Shepherd Dog named "Cheyanne", a Maltese named "Trixie", and a Pekingese named "Snowball".  "Promise" came to me as a 2 day old puppy with his 5 other brothers and sisters which I had to bottle feed until weaned and rehomed. Sadly their mother was hit by a car and her life was taken. Having him since 2 days of age and now as of 11/07 as a 5 year old dog he has given me the experience of playing the role as mother/father and at the same time as the owner/trainer. Over the years of having my dogs I have learned a ton first hand. As an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and an experienced dog owner, I have the knowledge, skill and patience to help you enhance the relationship with your canine friend.

 

   Along with dog training, I also enjoy being able to help sick and injured dogs and cats. I currently work full time at Hanover Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant and the Kennel Manager.
